The process for synthesizing 4-HO-MiPT is described in Shulgin’s 1997 book TIHKAL (Tryptamines I Have Known And Loved). In the book Shulgin claimed that 4-HO-MiPT was more potent that psilocin – the active psychedelic substance found in hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Nm2ai is also known as N-methyl-2-aminoindane. It has a systematical IUPAC name N-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-2-amine. Research chemicals of Nm2ai found out, that molecular formula of this substance is C10H13N, while the molecular mass is 147.2169 g\mol.
It has very close chemical resemblance to 2AI. Nm2Ai was released to the UK not for very long time, but it is a response of the polarity of MDAI.
Nm2Ai is an aminoindane chemical that has the same properties in vitro. It is similar to MDAI, 2AI, 5-IAI, and also 5-IT. As NM2AI is chemically the same as 2AI, that has the addition of n-methyl group, it`s mean that it shares the rigid amphetamine backbone as 2AI does. But, however, it has slight binding difference.
